E.S.S was started in the early 1980′s by James A. Schneider or “Andy” as he is known. From the humble beginnings of a street sweeper, Evergreen Sweeping Service was born. A company which was founded on simple, honest principals and has continued to grow and expand to fulfill all of our customers asphalt maintenance, repair, and commercial snow removal needs. Having been in the Evergreen area since the 1860′s, the Schneider family is needless to say, locally based and has always been a part of the community. In that same spirit, ESS is very much a family oriented and operated company. James Schneider is the President of ESS Schneider Inc. James’ son Matthew Schneider is the VP of ESS and has been gaining “on the job” experience since he was a young boy. Having started his own company at 16, Matthew operated Evergreen Striping Service thru 2008, offering professional striping services alongside working with his father. In 2009, Evergreen Sweeping Service and Evergreen Striping Service was Incorporated and has since been known as ESS Schneider Inc. James’ two daughters, Morgan Schneider and Chrissy Johnston are also very much involved in the operation of the company. Chrissy manages a great deal of the office work and over the years has spent her fair share of time working on the job. James’ other daughter Morgan is the receptionist and tackles a variety of the jobs from estimating to working on the job as well
